Two dayhikes out of the Zion Canyon shuttle loop today. The morning outing was the 5mi, 1500ft gain outing to Angels Landing. The afternoon hike was 8mi with 2100ft gain.

I slept in my Outback outside the park after driving up from Mt Charleston yesterday. Grabbed breakfast in Springdale and then took the park shuttle to the Grotto for the beginning of the Angels Landing outing.

The first part of the trail headed up the switchbacks to the left of Angels Landing. (Technically on the West Rim trail at this point)
