 Arc Dome
Up to the top of a very broad 10-11k plateau and getting a first glimpse of Arc Dome poking out to the south. The trail dissipated somewhat here, but there were numerous cairns marking the route.

The trail joined the "main" road about midway across the plateau and continued south towards the peak.

Arc Dome in full view now. Wasn't overly thrilled to see the large dip the ridge took on its way to the peak. Like the other north slopes, the north side of Arc Dome had some snow.

Down at the low point of the ridge ready to begin the switchbacked trail up to the peak.

The trail itself had most of the snow. On the way up I mostly waked along the trailside scree, on the way back down I mostly heelstepped into the snow.

Summit cairn in view. There were the remains of numerous shelters both on the summit and along the latter portions of the trail.

1933 USGS marker. The marker is labeled Toiyabe Dome, not Arc Dome. Toiyabe Dome is marked on the map as the next peak to the east.
