Looking back down to the park HQ from midway up the Ano Nuevo. The Ano Nuevo was silly steep, stairstep in places, and I was soon huffing and puffing.

The only short section of today's route that was on single track trail, the path topped out and then descended slightly to meet the Olmo Fire Road.
