I walked right past Divide Camp w/o noticing it. (I do remember passing the ferns, I just didn't look down). This shot is Miller Mountain poking through the trees.

The Pine Ridge trail was still in very good shape and there were only three deadfalls on this leg of the trail (two crawl unders, one step over)

The reliable creek past divide camp had water today. This creek flows down to pine valley and is one of the earliest headwaters of the carmel river.

A break in the trees giving a glimpse at the Ventana Ridge. Puerto Suello Gap directly center. Uncle Sam and Elephant mountain to its right, Ventana Double Code to its left, and I think that Devils Peak visible above the gap.

Looking down at Pine Valley. Miller Mountain on the left horizen. This angle has a nice view of the approach I used to climb Miller last year.
