Made it to the saddle before the sun set, but not down to the lupines. (Must have been moving slowly as it took 2 hours to travel the 4 miles from the saddle to trailhead). I arrived back at the car a little before 10 after 18 hours on the trail. Took a short nap and then began the 3 hour drive back to Mounatin View.
