About a half mile from the summit, the single track joined up with the 4wd access road for the summit tower, which switchbacked the remaining distance to the top.

A group of 4 on dirtbikes came roaring by shortly before I hit the lookout tower. (Don't think they were allowed to have the ORV's on the last 1 1/2 mile of trail, but may be mistaken)
