After the trailer, the road deteriorated a bit but was still traversable by a 4x4

Cistern a mile or two past the goat camp inholding. There was a bit of brackish water in the cistern from recent rains.

After the cistern, the road deterioriated noticable. Still no view of the peak itself.

Continuing south along the ridge trail.

Finally a view of the Caliente Mountain peak to the south. One more dip before heading up to the peak itself.

Last quarter mile to the peak as the roadbed completely deteroriated.
