There was a gate and then a junction for a short stint along the Whitehouse Canyon Road. I was a bit concerned that I had missed the Henry Creek turnoff at this point, as it was getting late and I was still heading north.

The Henry Creek trail headed south along a ridge and then dipped down below the treeline. The trees shielded me from the rain somewhat.

Stopped for a drink in Henry Creek, which I passed shortly before reaching Waddell creek.

The Waddell creek crossing was immediately past the Henry Creek crossing. (I zoomed this a bit tight- the viewfinder on the camera was fogged over). Had to scout a little bit downstream to find a place where the creek was rock hoppable.

The road was collecting some large puddles from the rain. Passed 2 parties of mountain bikers heading north as I headed south. Made it back to the car shortly before 5.
