The small (unnamed?) lake at the bottom of the 2nd dip. This is a popular campsite, but noone was home today.

Two small perennial streams (tributaries of Tenaya Creek) cross the trail in the final section of the valley. I hadn't carried any water in anticipation of filling up here, which I did.

Top of the ridge and the junction of the Forsyth and Clouds Rest trails. Turned right to start the final 2.5 mile uphill trek to the summit.

Starting the final "knife edge" climb to the high point. At its narrowest the ridge is still 10+ feet wide and easily navigatable even with my injured ankle.

Half Dome comes into view off to the right of the Clouds Rest summit. Noone on the peak when I arrived, but about a dozen folks were right behind me and started arriving as I was heading back.
