Was very plesantly suprised to discover a developed trail leading down the ridge. The trail did not appear on the Topo or the map in Schaffer's book.

The trail ended at this knoll. Stopped here amidst the yuccas for a bit more food.

Looking back up the ridge. Headed downslope from here, hoping to follow one of the Limekiln tributaries down the mountain. The underbrush in the valley was tedious, and I probably would have been better off following the crest of the ridge.

Tried following the creek for awile, but decided the ridge would be faster and started climbing back up above the treeline.

Soon spotted the Stone Ridge Trail contouring along the hilside below. There were some backpackers on the trail that I would catch up with a bit later.
