The view opened up to the south near Wellmans Divide and we decided to turn around after stopping for some pics. A brisk wind had picked up and the temperature started dropping sharply.

It started flurrying about a mile before we returned to the trailhead. For those keeping score, it has now snowed on my brother on all 4 of his trips to the west coast.

Little clearer as we caught the tram back down the mountain. From here it was off to LAX to drop Todd off and then the 5 hour drive back to Mountain View (completing 1700 miles for the week)
