First look at the next objective for the day-  the traverse from Dana over to Gibbs.  1200 foot drop down to the saddle, then 900 back up to Gibbs.  (The Koip Glacier is directly to the right of Gibbs, Parker Peak behind it to the left)

About midway up the ridge leading to the Gibbs summit.  There was a use trail that followed near the edge of the ridge that lasted nearly till the summit.  (The last 50 yards or so was easy class 3)

This single cloud hung out above the pass for most of the morning and was the only cloud in the sky.  It looked as if the Galyor lakes region was the recipient of the only shade.

Looking south over the ridge down towards what I think is Grant Lake.  Highway 395 is on the far side of the lake and the ski slopes of the Mammoth Ski resort can be seen on the right side of the shot.
