View of the traverse from North to Diablo. The road led down to the saddle at Prospectors Gap and then a single track circled around to the left climbing to the summit.

Somewhat confisingly, the trail on the slopes of Diablo is the North Peak Trail. This small spring fed creek was the first water I had seen since crossing Donner Creek early in the day.
