Diverged from the trail to the Hoover lakes and headed down to Gilman Lake. Hopped across the Gilman outlet creek on these logs.

Scree at the bottom of the west slope of Dunderberg as I started the ~3000ft slog. (Directly into the rising sun)

Looking west at East Lake from above. Page and Gabbro Peaks on the far shore.

Past the short class 3 section and beginning the long talus slog to the peak. The rock on this short ridge edge was better consolodated than most of the slope.

Slow going over steep, crappy, loose talus. Travered up to the edge of the snowfield and then followed it upslope.
