Diverged from the trail to the Hoover lakes and headed down to Gilman Lake. Hopped across the Gilman outlet creek on these logs.

Past the short class 3 section and beginning the long talus slog to the peak. The rock on this short ridge edge was better consolodated than most of the slope.
