Near the summit, I opted to swing right (above the snowfield) to the ridge edge.  It would have been shorter to head directly to the summit (on the left of the shot) but the scree on that slope looked unenjoyable.

Up on the ridge, now getting views of the other side of the peak.  This view is south towards the Virginia Lakes region.  (Think that is Moat lake on the bottom, and Cooney/Frog lakes beyond it)

The summit ridge was mostly flat and the highpoint was marked by a large cairn.

Sierra Peak Registry Box (empty) and ammo box.  The notebook in the ammo box had filled up in late '03 and there were no entries for '04.  Saw a couple of names that I recognized from summitpost in the logs.
