I didn't realize it yet, but there was a passable use trail leading up the steep scree directly ahead.

Looking down into the Lundy Lake watershed.  Burro Lake there on the left along with a bunch of smaller lakelets.  There was a distant roar from a waterfall below.

Looking over at Dunderberg from near the top of that rust covered subpeak.  Still had 3G coverage  here at just under 12k.

The West Lake/Green creek watershed now visible over there on the left- and the Virginia Lakes trail is visible winding over the pass below.
