Nice quick easy outing today.  About 3.5 miles and 1300ft of gain out of Kingmans Wash just south of the Hoover Dam on the AZ side of the border.

Started wanting to stop and take pics on the drive in.  Fortification Hill sits above the Paint Pots red rock area and is quite picturesque.

The trail followed the wash bottom for the first half mile or so and was heading for the ridge straight ahead on the horizon.  There were frequent cairns, but these really weren't necessary.
