4.3 miles and about 1800ft of gain today. I had planned on just summiting Bard and Ireteba- but added the next northern highpoint to make the day a bit longer.

It wouldn't be a Nevada outing without balloons. These at least were latex. They appeared to have been released intentionally as messages to heaven- they had child's notes to dead relatives attached.

End of the "Designated Route" about a quarter mile past a cattle guzzler and about a quarter mile short of the end of the dirt road. Road was traversable with my Outback but a bit dicey towards the end.

Starting up toward Bard. Angled to the right of the peak- which got increasingly steep as the slope proceded.
