Past the switchback and heading up to the last section before the summit.  The trail past here was indeterminate even before the fire and I soon abandoned trying to find it and just headed upslope to the summit.

The cross pieces of wood did not look singed at all, so I'm wondering if someone removed the platform planks (rather than them being burned in the fire)

Update: It appears that these were removed prior to the fire by the USFS as part of a plan to install a radio repeater that eventually fell through.
