Sign at the peak. I found out later that there was a registry buried here in the cairn, but I didn't think to look for it at the time. There were two groups of hikers, both from the Fresno area, on the summit and I stopped to chat for a bit.

Heading back down from Kaiser Peak. The trail up came over the ridge on the right, the trail down to George Lake was in the saddle between the fore and background ridges.

The trail from the saddle down to George Lake wasn't marked on the Topo, but was well defined here near the top. Didn't see the junction and ended up doing a little class 2 scramble down to meet the trail.

Started on the snow above the cornice, but it (and the snow to the left) looked too steep to glissade. Ended up scrambling down the rock in the middle. A marmot joined me for about half the decent.

The trail disappeared (or I just lost it) midway down to George Lake and needed to do a little more scrambling.

George Lake and an unnamed Kaiser Ridge minor peak. Absolutely beautiful up here. Fish were jumping at insects in the lake.
