PCT headed back toward Leavitt pass (off the shot to the right). Considered taking the use trail on the left back into Blue Canyon but decided to stick with the PCT. Believe that is Stanislaus Peak in the distance between the two closer minor peaks.

Joined up with this rather barren section of the PCT. (Winding along the right side of bowl). Trail back to Sonora pass went in the opposite direction from this picture.

Through Leavitt Pass on the PCT. Passed a few folks on the way to Leavitt, the first people I'd seen all day. Few more hikers (and a dog) ahead of me on the trail.
