Junction with the PCT and the trail to Dicks Lake. On my TRT trip last year, the skeeters ate me alive at this point. The wind was keeping them at bay today. Left turn to start the uphill leg to Dicks Pass.

Up atop Dicks Pass, looking across at Dicks Peak. There had been some patchy snow on the upper switchbacks of the Dicks Pass trail.

Post marking Dicks Pass at about 9300ft.

Great view over to Aloha Lake/Pyramid Peak (with the Glen Alpine watershed below)

Had to descend a few hundred feet to the saddle between Dicks Peak and Dicks Pass. The use trail can be seen heading up the opposite slope.

Over the first minor ridge, looking up at Dicks Peak proper.

Heard voices above and spotted this party of a man, woman, and dog on the slope above. Would meet up with them on the summit.
