Lots more downhill, and a fair amount of acorns on the trail making the footing occasionally unstable.  Passed the only person I'd see today shortly before reaching the bottom.

Finally reached the bottom of the HK trail when it dumped out back at Waddell Creek and the Skyline trail.  Turned right and started the return leg of the trip.

The log bridge to the Timms Creek trail (which interestingly, according to the topo, does not actually follow Timm's creek- the creek here is the West Waddell and Timms is the 1st tributary upstream)
