San Rafael Wilderness sign and backcountry registry. Recent signees in the registry included Rick Kent who had day hiked both the HPS Big 3 and the HPS Big 4 this fall.

Heading out the 1.2 mile spur to San Rafael Peak. Nothing terribly interesting with the limited visibility. The trail headed more or less directly to the peak, with one notable switchback on the route.
