Got a ~8am start from the Henry W. Coe park headquarters. There was a bit of lingering fog in the valleys that blew off by late morning.

The first half mile was under tree cover and countoured along the side of the ridge.

Decending east towards Manzanita Point. The first bit of today's route followed the same path as my Mt. Sizer trip a few years back.

Junction of the Povery Flat and Manzanita Point roads. Took the right fork on the way out and would be returning by the left.
