The 4th or 5th creek crossing (and one of the widest). The road eventally dipped into the creekbed, leaving no choice but to wade downstream.

A young pine amidst the flowers. There a few poppies growing next to the pine. I had expeced poppies to be abundant today, but there were only a few.

Decending into Poverty Flat. The route back would be continuing along Poverty Flat road rather than passing through Manzanita Point.

The Middle Fork Coyote Creek crossing was the most dicey of the day. There was a Jeep parked on the far side, presumably trapped by the current creek conditions. The road back to the Park HQ was very steep and I wasn't much in the mood for pictures past this point. Got back to the car a bit before 8 after about 12 hours on the trail.
