~9 miles and 3000ft of gain from the Missouri Springs trailhead at the end of AZ130 (Off of Temple Bar Road south of the Hoover Dam)

Wilson is my 13th peak from the Las Vegas Mountaineer Club 50 Classic Peaks list.

Missed AZ130 on my initial trip down Temple Bar Road (if you hit the entrance kiosk you've missed it) but found it on the way back. (There's a pic of the turnoff towards the end of this album)

AZ130 dead ended at the barbwired wilderness boundary- where there was a usage survey kiosk and a signboad devoid of any useful information.

The road continued past the barbwire, deteriorating slightly but still recognizably a road for the first mile or two. Wilson is the highpoint in the center of the shot.

After about a mile and a half the road ended in a wash. Turned left to head upwash.
Wilson is the right peak on the horizon.

G.I.P. was quite the prolific (and enduring) graffiti artist 100 years ago. There were numerous G.I.P. etching in the rocks around the spring.
