This section of trail was up out of the chapparal and the wildflowers started appearing.  The reds were indian paintbrush, the orange are california poppies.  Not sure what the yellows were but they were the most prevalent.

Joining the the North Peak road near the junction of the Prospector Gap trail and fire road.  A right turn from here started up the mile long spur to Mt Diablo.
