Looking northward from the Mt Olympia summit. Passed a group of 5 heading up just as I left the summit.

Heading down from Mt Olympia. I didn't have a map other than the topo, so I wasn't quite sure what trails to take back to the trailhead and kinda winged it.

Looking back up at Mt Olympia and the road leading down. Like everything today, the road down had been pretty steep.

Left turn here as it seemed to be heading in the general direction I needed to go. About 2 (crow fly) miles from the trailhead and ankle starting to act up a bit.

The trail skirted around some private property and then dumped out onto Cardinet Oaks road.

The road looked like it headed over a ridge that wasn't particularly in the mood to climb. This turn promised to head down to towards Lower Donner Creek so I opted for that instead. Was really wishing I had picked up a trail map at this point
