View east down to Independence Lake and the Stampede Reservoir beyond.

And I think thats the Desolation Wilderness's Crystal Range on the horizon. (Dicks/Jacks on the left, Pyramid/Price on the right)

Sierra Buttes visible to the north in the haze.

Heading back down, looking over at Red Mountain. That looks like a road on the left side of the ridge, but I don't see anything on the map.

Uneventful trip back down and got back to my car after a little under 4 hours on the trail.
