Topo and GPS tracks for today's 10.6 mile, 2500ft gain outing.
Lola was my 37th OGUL Peak.

I didn't realize it at the time, but peak 8844 about a mile north of the summit is the Sierra County highpoint. Will likely be heading back up there at some point.

The "Unnamed Street" that is on the topo was a forest road that looked to require a high clearance vehicle.

About a half dozen cars in the parking lot for my late almost 2pm start. Would pass most of these folks heading back as I headed up.

The Lola trail was mostly uphill and mostly under tree cover and it wasted no time in starting the elevation gain.

More uphill. The trail seemed to be frequented by mountain bikers and there were numerous tracks.

The trail met up with Cold Stream and paralleled it for most of the remainder of the route.

The trail joined the forest road for a short distance (and it would leapfrog the road a few more times over the next mile or two)

Back to the trail on the other side of the bridge. This is a popular snowmobile/ski route and the path was tree tagged with white diamonds.
