Now on the Coit Dam trail, which decended down to the dam side of the lake. Had to do a running broad jump to get over the creek at the outlet of the dam.

Burra Burra peak was visible to the south, along with Rock Springs and Vasquez Peak. Those were the destinations on this outing a few years ago.

The trail down to the falls was quite steep and dropped maybe 5-700 feet in less than a mile. This last section was wildflower coated before the trail turned left and dropped down the creekbed.

The lowest cascade of Pacheco Falls. Above this cascade, there were 3-4 more as the creek dropped down a steep walled section of canyon.
