Topo and route from today's ~20 mile loop (with 5500 ft of elevation gain) clockwise from the Coyote Creek park entrance in the lower left. This route was slightly longer than my first outing to the falls.

Coyote Creek park entrance. Parking along the road is illegal, but everyone seemed to be doing it again today. The bridge leads to the Gilroy Hot Springs.

This early creek crossing caused be a bit of difficulty on my last trip, but was easily rock hopped today.

Coit road followed Coyote Creek northward and I could hear frequent turkey gobbling from down in the creekbed below. I stopped to take a look and spotted these two birds.

Another junction with a spur leading to the Anza trail and the last bit of shade for awhile as the trail climbed out of the Coyote Creek canyon. (Some horrible overexposure in the top of this pic)
