The Coit Spring trail had a view of Coit Road and Coit Camp, which consisted of an (empty) pig trap, a picnic table, a corral, and a standard Coe pit latrine.

The Cross Canyon trail headed uphill steeply until arriving at another unsigned junction with the old road. From here it was a short hop to rejoin the Coit Road.

The Cross Canyon trail crossing Coit Road, which had swung around to the north from where I had left it last. Continued north on the Canyon trail.

Looking across the canyon at a particularly steep looking road heading up the opposite ride. I had feared that normal "Coe Karma" would kick in and have me soon trudging up this hill, but my route would end up avoiding the ridge by following the canyon bottom.
