Parker Peak was pretty much a big ole pile o scree.  (Much like Dana to the north).  Left the trail and scree scrambled the last quarter mile/500 ft elevation to the summit.

The first entry in the summit registry from 8/96.  There was only 1 entry from the last 2 years (which stated that the registry had been lost among the rocks).  There was no writing implement, so I did not log an entry.   Not sure what "Peak 12617" is referring to- maybe the peak east of Wood?
