Another shot of Koip Peak and Koip Peak pass from a bit further up the trail. Had originally planned to hit Koip/Kuna as well, but wasn't feeling up to it. (Thus, I'll likely be making another trip up here at some point)

Looking down into the valley from high up on the switchbacks. I think I had seen someone far below when I took the shot, but I can't see it in the picture.

Parker Peak was pretty much a big ole pile o scree. (Much like Dana to the north). Left the trail and scree scrambled the last quarter mile/500 ft elevation to the summit.

The rock structure on the Parker Summit. Ritter/Banner in the distance. (I think) A baggie w/ a summit registry on the ground to the left.

Looking east from Parker to Peak 12826 and Mt Wood. Ski runs off to the right. (June Mountain?)

The first entry in the summit registry from 8/96. There was only 1 entry from the last 2 years (which stated that the registry had been lost among the rocks). There was no writing implement, so I did not log an entry. Not sure what "Peak 12617" is referring to- maybe the peak east of Wood?

Looking down at the Alger Lakes on the far side of Koip Peak pass. Gem pass is on the far side of the last of the lakes.

360 degree panorama from the Parker Peak summit. (As always the component photos from the panorama are in a subalbum at the end)

Amazing view of the Mono basin from up here. Mono and Grant lakes in this shot.
