Junction of the trails to Slyvia Lake (Pyramid) and Lyons Lake (Price)

Arrived at Sylvia Lake and looking across at the steep talus scramble up to the ridge beyond.

Picked my way across the sagebrush (and deep gorges cut by the tributaries) on the north side of Lake Slyvia heading for the talus.

About 3/4 of the way up the slope. There were 3 20 somethings heading up at the same time. The stopped to rest and I'd see them again on my return trip.

Looking across the hanging valley at the top of the ridge. The standard route is to turn left here and scramble to the summit. I continued straight to meet up with the standard trail and approach the peak from the south.
