Topo and GPS tracks for todays outing from the Lyons Creek trailhead. 13.5m and 3200ft gain (2000ft of which was on the final ascent of Pyramid). Had originally planned on doing the traverse to Price, but really wasn't feeling well.

Pyramid was my 35th OGUL peak.

The Lyons Creek trailhead off of Wrights Lake Road (Which in turn was off of Hwy 50 near Kyburz) The parking lot was nearly full when I arrived.

Very little of the Lyons Creek trail is actually within sight (or even earshot) of Lyons Creek.

The first couple miles were flat to gradually uphill through alternating forest and meadow. The recent cold had killed most of the mosquitoes- I'm assuming this route is pretty bad with them most midsummers.

First view of a peak through the trees. I first thought this might be Price but I now think its Blue Mountain.
