Orginally thought that Quail Spring was up in this canyon. (And it looked as if there was indeed some water up there) but this was a bit west of the actual spring.

Scouted uphill from the cistern in search of water, but the slope was dry. (Though, from the vegetation there was apparently water down there someplace)
