Our main trip for the afternoon was a quick jaunt up to check out the Silver Bell Mine and the Pinto Basin.

The ore collection bins for the Silver Bell mine were visible from the road up toward the top of the ridge.

We headed cross country and picked up the road to the mine at the base of the slope.

Think this might have been an old mine shaft a bit to the north, but was filled in so it was hard to tell for sure.
