There was a use trail leading up into the pass and Ragged Peak summit came into view as I neared the top.

Very sandy soil near the base of the peak. There was a use trail up the sand, but you needed to head all the way up to the pass to catch it.

Looking down on the lowest of the Young Lakes as a 20mph wind whips up through the pass. Conness covered in clouds on the far side of the valley. Roosevelt lake barely visible to its left.
