Looking back up at the cloud hanging over the White Mountain summit.

Little clearer view about midway down to the lake. As always, Ragged Peak loomed in the distance.

Down in the high marshy meadow. The meadow was still pretty wet and must be an absolute mess earlier in the season.

Now that I was down, the clouds left White for a bit. Sigh.

Down in the valley, now looking to climb back up to the Young Lakes. Picked up a faint use trail for a bit, but lost it soon afterward.

Back to the trail near the middle Young Lake. There are 2 deer on the right side of this shot.

One of the deer seemed much more interested in her dinner than my approach. The other bounded away.

Back on the official trail, which makes a large semicircle around Ragged. Passed 2 groups of backpackers on the way out. (One with a toddler in tow)
