Pickett and Hawkins on the near ridge. Pine Nut mountinans are the ridge beyond Carson Valley in the distance. I *think* that might be Siegel, but hard to tell.

Still a hefty summer snowfield up here on the summit plateau. Skirted around it.

I had no evolved plan for the descent other than to avoid cliffing out and hook up with the TRT at some point.

Looking back up at Stevens. The skeeters dive bombed me as soon as I got low enough that the ridge wind dissipated.

Down to the trail. (I'd last been on this section of the TRT about a year ago. The skeeters thankfully dissipated once I was on the trail.
