Topo of todays route along the PCT

The Ebbetts Pass PCT trailhead. Could have saved about a half mile of trail by parking out on the highway rather than at the parking lot.

Flag flying over Ebbetts Peak. (Curious as to how the flag doesn't become a lightening rod, perhaps it's not on a metal pole?)
