Saturday & Sunday

The trip started with about a thousand miles of driving on Saturday and Sunday.

I left Mountain View early Saturday and headed down to Jay & Silent Bob's Secret Stash in West Hollywood to pick up the tickets for Sunday's Clerks II DVD screening party. (Both my brother and I are big Kevin Smith fans and I had reserved the tickets as a suprise for when he arrived)

From there it was out to Caltech in Pasadena to visit my undergraduate freshman roommate, back to LAX to pick up my brother, and then down to Anaheim where a friend had graciously offered to let us crash for two nights.

On Sunday, we drove from Anaheim to Santa Barbara to visit our Uncle, back to Hollywood to attend the Kevin Smith event, and then returned to Anaheim for the night.
