The 8.5 mile loop started by heading south down the Skyline to Sea trail from the Sempervirens Point parking lot. Northbound S-to-S is on the other side of the street- something that is not immediately obvious.

Into the woods as the trail paralleled Rt. 9. Mostly new growth trees, though there were a few big Firs along the early path. Lots of motorcycle noise from the road.

After a mile or so the trail reached a junction with the Beekhuis trail. The Beekhuis turned away from the highway and decended into the valley.

Junction of the Beekhuis and Toll Road trails. Lot of the pictures today had a depressing amount of contrast issues. Bright sun filtering down between the trees doesn't make for nice photos.

An old collapsed bridge on the Toll Road. The trail had been rerouted to the left, crossing the creek at a manmade dam a little further up the trail.
