The TRT approached Peak 8992 and then countoured its western slope.  (8992 looked to be a more interesting destination than the developed summit of Snow Valley)

I had noticed this on Monday- there was an early season fire burning across the lake in the vicinity of Rubicon/Meeks Bay.

The trail gradually climbed above the treeline as the summit approached and I started looking for an appropriate place to turn and scale the summit.

I turned upward near the point where the TRT passed closest to the peak.  (I downed half a bottle of Gatorade before tackling the ascent and paid for it with a water cramp halfway up)

Up on the summit plateau, a bit over 9200ft.  Like Genoa, there were TV/radio structures on the summit.  (Unlike Genoa, these were solar powered)
