Looking north as the TRT continues its path toward the Mt Rose summit. Still some lingering snow ahead.

Looking south. The bump in the forground is Duane Bliss Peak. The middle ridge has Genoa Peak as its highpoint. And the snowcaps on the horizen are Freel, Jobs, and Job's Sister.

Looking over at the Desolation Wilderness. (The snow on the Tallac trail- on the left of the shot- seems to be finally almost melted out)

I took a more direct route back down from the summit and soon rejoined the trail.

More red ribboned tree's offtrail. I again suspect that these are denoting a reliable water source.

Back to the car in a bit over an hour and a half. (I was able to pick up the pace on the gentle downhill grade- averaged a 3.5mph pace on the return trip)
