Heading back down now, looking back up at the Tallac summit. Moving pretty slowly over the scree with my injured ankle.

I somehow lost the trail in the scree on the way down and ended up heading cross country until I met up with the Cathedral Lakes trail. I then backtracked up to rejoin the Glen Alpine trail.

The crowds that I had been expecting on the summit were present on the trail on my way down. Passed this party of *25* or so above Gilmore Lake and probably passed 50-75 people total on my descent. (Lesson learned- start early if you're going to Tallac)

A last look up to (I think) Jacks Peak on my way down. The stairsteps on the descent were pretty hard on my ankle and I was in a bit of pain by the time time I got back to the car at ~1
