Topo of today's ~21 mile out and back route from the Hetch Hetchy trailhead. It was in the low 50's when I got my start a bit before 8.

Looking out across the dam as I departed from the trailhead. Wapama falls flowing well, but not much from Tueeulala. (And the reservoir's water level was much lower than I was expecting)

Breaking in a new pair of Merrell's today. The waterproofing would get tested in short order and held up well. (I didn't yet replace the insoles in this pair with Spencos, which I paid for a bit)

There had been some repair work on the tunnel over the winter. I'm not sure if this was responsible or if I was just lucky, but the ever-present puddle of water at the start of the tunnel was absent today.
