Summit Registry. (Placed on this 2003 trip by Bob Burd and company). Had a hell of a time getting it open and had to pry the lid off with my hiking pole. Only 2 entries in the log, both by Bob & Co. My pop tart lunch made it into the shot on the right.

Another look at Miller Mountain (on the left, middle of the 3 visible ridges)

Looking southeast. My complete guesses as to the landmarks: Junipero Serra on the distant left. Black Cone in center. Cone/Twin peaks on the right.

Back down and starting the return traverse. Getting a bit better at following the firebreak.

Typical of some of the route. Clear sign of the firebreak (cut in the bottom center) leading into a solid wall of vegetation.
